Christmas is my favorite time of year. For no other reason than I LOVE to bake. Cookies, pies, candy, fudge, you name it I will probably make it, in my free time (if I am lucky enough to get some this year). I want to share with you my favorite recipes and some I want to try, some of them are tedious, but some are fun and great to do with your kids (or in my case my two rowdy younger sisters). I hope you have fun with these! Have a question? Let me know! I love doing these recipes and some of them can be kind of tricky!
I like baking these because they are what my family considers a “tradition.” I have been helping make these since I was three or four years old. My mom, siblings and I would spend the two weeks before Christmas baking cookies. I remember one time we had baked so many cookies we had been baking for three days straight and we had cookies clear through February.
